Michelle Obama’s Staff Costs Taxpayers $1.4M

First lady Michelle Obama has been under fire recently for spending our tax dollars frivolously while on vacation in Ireland. She spent $3,000 per night on a hotel room so she could have lunch with a pop group’s lead singer.
Now, reports are surfacing that her entire entourage costs taxpayers around $1.4M per year. That is almost three times the cost of Laura Bush’s staff, which was $561,325.
