The death toll from the conflict in Syria exceeded 140 thousand

New Dawn TV - said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said
Saturday that more than 140 000 people, including more than seven
thousand children have been killed in the Syrian uprising, which has
turned into a civil war.
The Observatory added that the pro-opposition period that followed the
peace talks, "Geneva 2" on Syria, which began last month was the
bloodiest period in the ongoing conflict three years ago.
The British-based Observatory, which uses the network of activists
across the country, the death toll has now reached 140 041 people. He said the dead included 7626 children and 5064 women.
